What is the minimum age to undergo treatment?
WE WILL NOT PERFORM TREATMENT ON NOT FULLY DEVELOPED TEENAGERS.
The accepted minimum age to begin laser hair removal can be as young as 14 years old. The exact age depends on the age that the teen is through puberty and, if female, has had her menstrual cycle for at least one year. Boys should have reached their parents height. Those under age 18 always require written consent from a parent or guardian.
It is important to realize, however, that the teenage body still plans to create many more new hairs and that results may be temporary. Hormones are changing rapidly and hair growth during these years is rampant. More treatments than usual will likely be needed, resulting in higher costs and disappointment. Also, teenage body hair is often still thin and light, and as a result, won’t absorb the laser light/heat. However, a girl having developed thick dark hairs out of every pore can experience very good results.
